As an extremely well-connected sales and marketing professional with 18 years experience in highly competitive and demanding roles, Kelly previously held the position of Global Director of Sales for Kempinski Hotels. Enjoying the demands and rewards of a stimulating and target driven role, proving success by increasing a multi-million account revenue by 59% in her first two years with the company. Kelly brings a 360 vision and awareness of the luxury hospitality industry, not only working in sales positions for luxury leisure representation, Leela Palaces and Kempinski, but also built 8 years of solid foundations working for the award winning luxury travel agent & tour operator, Carrier.
After much indulgent travelling and experiencing the high life with Carrier, Kelly left the UK as a backpacker and spent two years exploring the world independently. She gained a strong in-depth insight into the operational workings of a deluxe hotel operation by working on property for Four Seasons Sydney and Voyages Australia, who held minimum nightly rates of $1500.
Being introduced to ‘true luxury’ hotels & destinations, and working with the most demanding UK agents & U/HNW clients has given Kelly an eye for detail and the pursuit for excellence in her work.
Kelly enjoys the challenge and rewards of sales, especially when introducing a new product into the luxury market and seeing it thrive.
‘I will go anywhere, provided it is forward’ has been a life motto for Kelly and one of the reasons she named her son after the Scottish Explorer, David Livingstone. When she is not working, you can usually count on Kelly being overseas on yet another adventure.
