One year into her degree in Psychology & Criminology, Dajana utilised her long summer break in 2010 by touring Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. She’d got the travel bug and a year later, visited 22 of the American states in 26 days.
Her recent travels include Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the Maldives, Japan, Cuba, China, and too many places to list in Europe.
Having spent almost 7 years working as a pastoral lead in one of the biggest sixth forms in Oxfordshire, Dajana developed a breadth of skills and experience working in education. Working with a variety of stakeholders, advising staff and students alike as well as being responsible for the day to day running of a year group of 300+, she thrived off of the challenge the role provided and particularly found joy working with people from all walks of life. Dajana found great value in this experience, but she decided she was ready for a career change.
Having seen so much of the world, Dajana decided it was time to make the world her work. Taking her excellent organisation and communication skills acquired from her time in education, she soon landed on her feet at Lemongrass. Here, she builds relationships with new and existing clients, showcasing the destinations of hoteliers around the world, developing and creating new opportunities for the company.
Dajana continues to utilise any downtime she gets by exploring the breadth of the UK, off-the-beaten-track destinations abroad, almost always planned over a big cup of tea and a slice of cake.
