Al unknowingly started his digital marketing career in 2011, making websites and using social media to promote music and events. This got the attention of a local digital marketing agency, and landed him his first digital job.

Al learned the intricacies of SEO, PPC, social media marketing and email marketing – but found his passion in content and creative marketing. In subsequent roles, he became an accomplished copywriter and creative strategist, as well as a prolific blogger.

Al has worked on campaigns for major brands like Mercedes Benz, the AA, Lyons and Travelbag – and has worked on print, TV and digital campaigns for bespoke travel and luxury brands.

Now, Al helps the Lemongrass team with research, planning and ideation for digital PR campaigns that get clients noticed; and not just in the press. With a focus on creating shareable, link-worthy content, Lemongrass gives clients campaigns that enable long-term SEO growth, too.

In his spare time, Al plays bass in a wedding band, and creates music at his home recording studio. And if he’s not creating, you’ll find him out in the wilderness. Al loves to travel and explore the outdoors with his wife and son, who are both happy campers – just like him.
