Lewa Wilderness – located in the heart of Kenya's Lewa Wildlife Conservancy – is a distinguished lodge that offers a grounding safari experience.

Situated on 64,000 acres of pristine wilderness, Lewa is renowned for its rich wildlife, including one of the strongest populations of white and black rhinos in all of Kenya. Founded through a commitment to conservation, Lewa Wilderness blends wildlife abundant landscapes with home-from-home accommodations and exceptional once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Guests can explore the conservancy through game drives, walking or horseback safaris, scenic flights, and more. With just nine exclusive accommodations – six thatched cottages built into the hillside overlooking Lewa’s Eastern Marania Valley, and three ranch-style garden cottages rich with rustic charm – Lewa Wilderness provides a personalised, family-friendly atmosphere where guests feel like part of the community. 

Lewa Wilderness also has a new exclusive-use property – Private Wilderness – which is located just two kilometres downstream from Lewa Wilderness and comprises of five individual thatched cottages which accommodate ten guests simultaneously. Having recently celebrated their 50-year anniversary in 2022, Lewa Wilderness continues to support vital conservation and community development efforts.
