Cape of Senses

Cape of Senses is Lake Garda’s new five-star, adult only spa hideaway, Situated 240 metres above Lake Garda overlooking the picturesque village of Torri del Benaco.

The retreat offers spectacular views and year-round relaxation and regeneration, encouraging guests to slow down and reconnect with their senses. The successful insertion of the building into the hillside terrain, designed with a gentle curve, allows Cape of Senses to enjoy uninterrupted sunset views putting the spotlight on its surroundings. Combining simplistic elegance with traditional Italian flare, the property features 55 suites with spacious rooms and sophisticated design.

Guests can unwind at the outdoor, private heated infinity pool and jacuzzi or connected indoor pool. While the Senses Spa offers a holistic spa concept with an extensive range of facilities and treatments that use natural, sustainably sourced products. Guests can also enjoy the spa library or spa garden which includes a yoga platform. There are two fine dining restaurants, including the lake-view Al Tramonto and traditional Osteria La Pergola, the former awarded a Michelin Key within the first year of opening. Guests can also enjoy breakfast at the rooftop garden or in their own private suites, plus the lounge bar and bistro serve light refreshments. The lake hideaway also offers an extensive range of year-round, on-site activities and local experiences, available to book through the hotel’s concierge service.

Sustainability

  • The compact, ground-saving concept that provides the hillside edge development of the property also allowed the roof to be equipped with a concealed photovoltaic system, making for a more efficient and sustainable build.
  • Additional energy-saving technologies such as heat pumps, photovoltaics and rainwater collectors were also implemented. All building materials such as the stone, wood and tiles were sourced from the local region using first-class South Tyrolean companies.
  • The olive trees that existed on the site were also carefully removed and replanted back into the hotel’s surrounding landscape.
