The Client

Borgo Egnazia is a luxury resort on Puglia’s breathtaking Adriatic coast. The brand’s key selling story is authentic design, with the entire resort having been conceived around the image of a traditional Italian village. Other primary marketing categories for the resort are: family, spa and, unsurprisingly, gastronomy.

 

The Challenge

Just as Britain and the rest of Europe were suffering the full impact of a recession, we were tasked with launching the resort into the UK and Irish markets.

As well as the challenge of creating a compelling proposition for the brand, we recognised we were also building a case for Puglia; at the time a relatively unknown destination among British tourists.

 

Results

Awards are the prime awareness tool for this sector and we targeted the industry’s best. By carefully crafting each award entry and organising press trips for key influencers, the brand won every relevant award going.
