The Client

Motel One, founded on the positioning line “Great design for little money”, is a new budget design hotel concept. The brand offers high standards of service and good design for budget-conscious guests in city center locations. Launched in 2000, the brand opened its first hotel in the UK in 2013 and now has over 50 hotels across Europe.

The Challenge

To increase brand awareness of Motel One in the UK market with the launch of an interactive Twitter and Instagram account.

Results

In 6 months, Twitter followers increased to 3,925, (now 8000+) achieved through engagement, sponsored posts and creative content.

In 2015, 1 million Twitter impressions and over 14,000 engagements were generated (likes, retweets, mentions, clicks, photo views).

5,103 followers were added to Instagram over 6 months. (Now 11.1k+)
